There is no greater joy for a chef than carrying out their dream of opening their own restaurant and Jesús Almagro was no exception. After 20 years in the world of gastronomy, Jesús finally decided to open his own restaurant, Canseco & Mesteño, which is located on San Sebastián Street.
The chefs here love to promote product, product, product. “Tradition, product and creativity have been the foundations in the development for Canseco Bar, and here is where I can express my more casual version.” You can find on the menu many tasty dishes such as crab ravioli; creamy onion juice with Iberian ham; or 10 organic vegetables with Iberian ham juice.
Triciclo, La Malaje, Bistronomika, Vinoteca Mortaín….and now Canseco & Mesteño. Can this be the start of a neighborhood of great restaurants that seeks to become the focal point of quality gastronomy? Let’s hope so.
