If there is one thing that we love here at Plateselector it’s the typical cafes that leave a taste in your mouth and an aroma in your clothes. The capital is a city full of bars with paper napkins crumpled on the floor, the strong smell of fried food, where it can be sometimes hard to distinguish between the good and the weird until it hits your stomach. When observing the people that come out of Najera, all we see are smiles. For being a pure Madrid-style bar, you never see the toothpicks and napkins on the floor that are typical of the neighborhood. Their stove is constantly searing succulent pieces of meat and fresh fish and the “boquerones en vinagre” (pickled fish) can provoke ecstasy.
