Ronit Stern and Rafael Campos are behind some of the most beloved restaurants in Barcelona. In addition to their chain of Crustó bakeries and their restaurant Totó in Calle Valencia, the partners have embarked on two new projects. The first, Spa Kitchen, is modeled after a New York salon and offers manicures, pedicures, and massage therapy as well as food, hence the name.
The second project, Auto Rosellón, is located in an old workshop and echoes a carefree and casual energy. Come for appetizers or full meals and enjoy cuisines from around the world. “We offer dishes that work in the city. A star dish? The spinach and ricotta gnocchi. They will seduce you without a doubt,” explain chefs Ronit and Rafael. Other dishes include: bikini with buffalo mozzarella, Iberian ham and truffle; toasted roast beef, asparagus with a secret sauce and poached egg; figs roasted in balsamic vinegar with walnuts and mozzarella; eggplants with tahini sauce and hazelnuts; and pieces of sea bass in linen. For dessert: chocolate mousse with scented cream or figs, mascarpone and cointreau.
The restaurant serves breakfast from 8:00 in the morning. The large bar is used as a lunch table and is lined with homemade pastries, breads from Cloudstreet Bakery and coffee from Marzocco. The midday menu (14.50 euro) has four options for a first course, four options for a second course and a list of desserts. In the evenings, drinks and evening meals are always made from local and seasonal ingredients.
