This seafood restaurant is called Batea… and after you try it, you’re going to understand exactly why we love it.
We started off with a killer cold seafood platter: mackerel gilda, a shrimp tartare profiterole, and a cañita gallega (Galician pastry cone) filled with a creamy mussel filling… absolutely insane from the very first bite.
Next up was a spectacular bluefin tuna tartare over a crispy rice cake, a seaweed filloa (crepe) with prawn—so smooth and incredibly flavorful—and a smoked bonito with green mojo sauce that you won’t easily forget. And the Betanzos-style tortilla with squid noodles… you’ve never tried anything like it.
To top it all off, three desserts that I’m not going to spoil for you… you’d better go, try them yourself, and then let me know what you think!
