Even though Bitter Cocktail Bar has only been opened for a little over a year, we could not imagine nightlife without it. Without a doubt, this place has become one of our favorite places to not only have a great conversation, but also to eat and drink.
Bitter Cocktail Bar was created by Nacho, who decided to split from Juanjo (with whom he shared a bar in Milano and the Caribbean Club) to settle in the current fashionable area of the city, at 17th Viladomant Street, on the corner of Parlament Street. Like all new places, it has managed to combine great cuisine with a cocktail bar.
We have to say that the sandwiches are wonderful. The salmon tartare and the stuffed arepitas are a sure hit.
At last, the cocktails. Bitter is a sum of many things, where the drinks are very important, but also there are the Nacho’s anecdotes, Priscila’s warmth,Anais’s smile, Dorian’s friendliness, Anibal’s talent, Diego’s dedication and Albert’s good gesture.
Rigor, concern, love and great humility are the values of Bitter, where there are classic cocktail recipes such as “Beatnik” (bourbon, amaro, and oporto), fresh flavors such as “Berry Sling” (vodka, raspberries, honey, lemon juice, ginger and mint) and others, the House brand, and a version of the traditional “Whisky Sour” by changing the sugar to maple syrup and adding a bit of Rosemary.
You only need two words to describe Bitter and those are “fun” and “social”.
