This French bistro in Pau Claris pleases the most refined palates at affordable prices.
Romain Fornell and Michel Sarran, both chefs born in France, undertook this project in the hopes of creating a bistro that offers French ingredients in a simple yet quality form. Coincidentally, both Romain’s wife and Michel’s daughter are named Emma, and what better name for their joint project than one that pays tribute to the most important women in both their lives.
These chefs make simple French dishes that pay homage to their origins, like duck paté, oysters, French onion soup, snails with herbs and roast beef. These classic dishes come with a contemporary touch and are made with high quality market ingredients.
We recommend their breakfasts with french tartines or omelettes made just as you like, or for lunch and dinner the essential menu items include lobster macaroni with comté, mussels with poulette sauce and potatoes and the grilled onglet (hanger steak).
