After a prominent gap in the already competitive world of “Good Fast Food”, London SoHo House & Co group opened it’s first Spanish establishment in one of the oldest squares in the city, the Duke of Medinaceli. Chicken and hamburgers, as noted by the restaurant’s name, are there specialties. These items are the crown jewels of this restaurant, with the ambiance of a 1950s American diner.
The philosophy of this restaurant, as explained by Montse (head of communication) and Diego (subdirector) is simply this, “The Chicken Shop & Dirty Burger is designed as a place of relaxed atmosphere in which to offer international cuisine without sacrificing the quality of the local produce. All the chicken, marinated in a secret dressing overnight, comes from Empordá. We also offer vegetarian option from Portobello mushrooms. In addition, our customers can also try the special of the month.”
The dessert to complete the North American ritual is the apple pie, served with vanilla ice cream. The drink menu includes a selection of local and imported beers, classic cocktails, local wines and even milkshakes.
