“Pajamas are the new tuxedos.” This is the M.O. of the new La Mojigata. For those who are not familiar with La Mojigata, it began in a small venue in the Las Letras neighborhood with the notion of making late breakfast available. Natalia and Fer started La Mojigata before everyone started jumping on the brunch bandwagon, just to satisfy the want for late breakfast, which, to this day still is not so common in Spain.
In their new venture, they decided not to find a physical location, instead they chose to host a “mass breakfast” every 2-3 months where you can surround yourself with good friends at a massive table. From carrot cake (Natalia’s specialty) to tapenade and lentil salad, homemade bread of all kinds, bloody marys, homemade jams, organic wine, mini vegetable quiches, to organic honey from Burgos, La Mojigata is sure to please. The last breakfast sold out quickly, so stay tuned for info on the next one at:
