Dulce de Leche is a family project where owners, Anne and Javier, joined gastronomy and aesthetics to open a cozy boutique with Nordic roots and Argentinian heart. The space reflects 100% of Ana and Javier’s personality. She is the stylist and he, the fashion photographer. Nordic and Mid Century furniture fills the space, decorated with flowers, plants and plenty of natural light. These fine details make it one of the most unique spots in Valencia.
Ana comes from a family of Argentinian pastry chefs, thus her devotion to this profession began at a young age. Moving away from the concepts of franchisement and industrialization, this bakery has remained rooted in their traditional family beginnings.
Each day the cafe prepares delectable cakes and other pastries that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Dulce de Leche has a warm environment with good music, fresh flowers and design magazines. Argentinian, German and Spanish specialties fill the menu with quality options that strive to be as healthy as possible. Take note of the impressive carrot cake, made with organic whole-meal flour, or the new pure Belgian chocolate cake and dulce de leche.
Everything follows homemade recipes; simply continuing the things they’ve always done. Another example of this dedication can be seen in the way they choose their coffee. The staff really pays attention to the preparation and the quality of its coffee from organic production.
In fact, the Dulce de Leche team receives barista training to learn how to prepare everything perfectly. At Dulce de Leche you can simply the care and dedication put into every dish.
