Imagine that you have just spent all day on a beach in Cadiz. As you make your migration from sea and sand, you search for a place to sit, grab a drink and watch the sunset. A fisherman passes you and you begin to follow him, on the hunt for the freshest seafood you can find.
Fortunately, your walk with the fisherman has brought you to El Carmen. Fresh seafood is defines this restaurant. Each day the menu changes in order to incorporate the freshest catch of the day. Although El Carmen has only been open for four years, it will soon become one of your favorites.
The quality of the raw produce and the method of cooking place this restaurant heads above the rest. The clams, with a secret sauce, perfectly crispy shrimp, baby squid and grilled choc are just some of the mouthwatering dishes available on this menu. To add variety the chefs also prepare a tuna belly and sirloin.
However, it’s a local opinion that nobody does shellfish better than El Carmen.
Without a doubt, this restaurant is a pleasant discovery and a meal that will certainly give you the bang for your buck that you’re looking for.
