Right in the heart of Barna, on Carrer de la Boqueria, inside the historic Hotel Condal—which, by the way, has been recently renovated—you’ll find Finorri. A restaurant where you can treat yourself to a menu that is as mouthwatering as it is meticulously crafted.
To make your life easier, here are the absolute hits: The red shrimp carpaccio with porcini mushroom oil. If you visit during pea season, you must try the tear peas with black butifarra sausage and pork belly. White asparagus served with mushrooms and foie gras. Yellowtail with Maldonado pork belly, a ‘sea and mountain’ sauce, baby vegetables, and salmon roe. And yes, there is rice too—make sure to order it! Just look at how incredible this Pals rice with pork belly and black chanterelle mushrooms looks.
As for meats, they have it all. We tried the beef cheek with sweet potato purée and confit mushrooms, as well as the Galician beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and french fries.
To wrap things up on a sweet note, go for the cream-filled chucho pastry and you’re good to go—truly one of the best meals you can experience right in the center of Barcelona!
