En Compañía de Lobos – a gastronomic complex on the beach of Hotel W. An idyllic location where, hidden among the vine leaves, is home to this small chiringuito with a casual atmosphere where they serve simple gastronomic offerings made with fresh and quality products.
This is Gallito, which allows you to enjoy privileged views and situate yourself in one of the most sought after places in Barcelona. Undoubtedly, that feeling of relaxation, calmness and tranquility that the sea brings to a restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or a house rice.
We are soon served Gallito rice, made with their black rice of sepionet and zamburiñas. We follow it with some dishes to share, in a menu that is full of them – some fresh tuna tortillas with avocado and chipotle mayonnaise that we devour in one bite.
Still with our stomachs roaring, another Gallito classic, grilled octopus with potato salad and paprika de la Vera oil, is served.
Without a plate, but with a spoon, we made our way through such a tide of flavors. Of course, you cannot leave here without trying any of their desserts. It is a mandatory stop if we want to finish this walk through Barcelona’s waters.
The sweetest option is a white Brownie with passion fruit ice cream and its Meregallo, a broken meringue with red fruits, cream and yogurt. So if you want to enjoy a cuisine with a lot of sea flavor; Gallito is your place.
