You are what you eat. This is the philosophy that Happy Green was born from, a local Chueca that puts the importance of a healthy and balanced diet based on the nutritional needs of each diner on the table.
Legumes, vegetables, fruit, cereals, seaweed, nuts, fish or meat are some of the foods you will find in the menu – a perfectly cared for menu. Designed by a nutritionist, Happy Green’s dishes are perfectly detailed, with each ingredient indicated by the amount of calories they contain. Thus, diners can choose what to eat based on the food they need or the number of calories they want to consume.
All of its gastronomic offers are 100% natural, and vary according to the season and is suitable for all palates (they have options for vegans, vegetarians and celiacs). In addition, in their kitchen you won’t find flour, eggs or sugar, the milk is bio and the salad dressings are made from vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms and soy.
Specializing in salads and fitbowls (hot bowls), on Happy Green’s menu there is also room for makis, soups and burgers. Balanced dishes such as the delicious Bora Bora salad, consisting of wild rice, pomegranate, marinated salmon, carrots, edamame, pepper, cashews, lettuce and avocado or the Matterhorn fitbowl, consisting of sesame, cheese, broccoli, dried tomatoes, eggplant, black rice, lentils, and portobello mushrooms are some of the options you can ask for.
If you like spoon dishes, their tasty homemade soups are an ideal choice. To share, there’s nothing like the original Quinomakis, makis made with quinoa instead of rice. And for the carnivores, the perfect choice would be one of their burgers, which are accompanied by their delicious “bravas” potatoes.
At the time for drinks, you will be able to choose from some of their water flavors: strawberry and banana, mango, pineapple… they are perfect to refresh and hydrate throughout your meal.
The place is decorated in white and blue tones that transmit tranquility, with healthy slogans on the walls that describe the philosophy of this restaurant to perfection.
Without a doubt, Happy Green is the ideal place for those who want to take care of themselves, but love to eat, since in this restaurant and nonstop kitchen, you will find a wide variety of proposals each day.
