Elena and Ana are two sisters who created a blog a few years ago; a blog that gave way to workshops and some catering. Now these two sisters have decided to go a step further and open a store called Hermanas Arce: a place where you can dine on homemade cuisine, in which they take great care of the quality and taste of each dish.

Their cuisine is based on taking care of the product and cooking as they would do for themselves in their own home. Elena and Ana began to feel the passion for cooking and recipes since they were young. It was their mother who instilled in them the love for a balanced and healthy meal. Cooking has always been their passion and now they are embarking on the adventure of running a restaurant with the same affection that led them to write each entry of their blog.

Located in the center of Madrid, Hermanas Arce resembles a canteen – but one that is well-kept. With a minimalist style, the place is very cozy. A space where you will find both small tables (for two people) and a larger one perfect for a large group or to share.

Breakfasts, snacks or meals – in Hermanas Arce you will find a space to go to at different times of the day. In addition, certain days a month will offer tastings of natural wines and small plates to share a pleasant afternoon with friends.

In Hermanas Arce they switch up the menu – their gastronomic offer varies according to the season and the products available. But all its dishes have one thing in common: the Mediterranean base. Spanish, French, Italian, Arab or Jewish dishes are what you will find in the menu. You can order dishes such as pea cream, pumpkin pie, bacon and parmesan or radish salad.

Breakfast or snacks are one of the best times to enjoy Sisters Arce. Toasts of bread of sourdough with homemade jam, pancakes, granola or eggs are some of the dishes you’ll find for breakfast. The Babka, a sweet typical of Eastern Europe, is one of the star desserts and is worth enjoying at any time.

Hermanos Arce is a space in which to feel welcome and enjoy some recipes that Elena, Ana and her team cook every day to put in value the kitchen carefully and elaborated from affection.
