On 29 Comerç Street, in the heart of the Born District, we see a neon pink sign that reads “Koku Kitchen Buns”. This is the newest restaurant the men of Koku Kitchen Ramen have recently opened.
This new place, barely two months old, takes us into the world’s most varied and exquisite Asian cuisine, combing excellent products of proximity with authentic food of the Eastern continent.
Its affordable menu has a selection of tempura, cold dishes (with elements such as nori seaweed, ginger, and sweet potato), Kimchis (prepared with sauerkraut), the famous don (Asian rice), edamame (steamed soy beans), and of course: Buns, a new concept of the Asian Burger, based on the original recipe of the chef David Chang. They also offer a vegetarian version of the burger with mushrooms.
To drink, be sure to try the wonderful homemade lemonade or any of the eight types of beer. Finally, we recommend not to leave without trying, at least, one of their magnificent desserts, among which we find pudding, apple crumble, mochi (traditional Japanese rice cake), and green tea cheesecake.
