Salazones, vegetables, rice, fish… La Naya has brought the delicacies of Levante to Madrid. A restaurant that transports you to the Mediterranean but that also provides a Levantine styled bar where you can accompany your food with a sweet fondillón wine.

The restaurant’s name references Levante, in fact, the Nayas are terraces surrounding the houses in Alicante which were used to pacify the Monastrell grapes; and those are precisely the grapes used to elaborate the fondillón.

A Naya on the roof, a bar of tiles and a space full of natural light are just a few of the characteristics of this restaurant. A restaurant with a well-put-together design to make all feel comfortable in their local restaurant and bar.

Along with the decoration, the flavors, and products, this local transports you to Alicante, from food to the design in the interior. The menu is also varied yet simple, with plates that are very characteristic to the culture.

In their menu they offer plates like salazones, the coca de sardina and the Russian salad with a very special dressing. But in La Naya, they also offer plates that depend on the season such as the grilled sardines which are one of their star plates during the start of the summer, whose aroma will transport you directly to the sea.

One of the plates that is more characteristic of La Naya is the 65º egg, an egg cooked at a low temperature with kimchi sauce and a piece of garlic toast. Another good choice while at this restaurant is the Nayeros, the typical sandwiches of the Alicante bars where you can find options like the Porky (pork cooked at a low temperature), the Barbas (tapilla with truffle oil) and the black rabas (calamari with tempura in its ink). The fish rice, the fideua or the rice with vegetables and ribs are only a few of the options to finish your delicious meal in the Levantine air in Madrid.

In their wine cellar, not only will you find fondillón, but La Naya also offers a magnificent menu of wine that predominates references of the denominations of the origin in Alicante.

La Naya is a restaurant that transforms into the villages of the Alicante fisherman. This is a local restaurant that makes itself known for its Alicante gastronomy in the center of Chamberí to truly enjoy the best flavors of the Mediterranean.
