LLamber is not a restaurant that you can easily miss.
“What we try to do is be a local destination. When people say let’s eat, they want to come here” said head Chef Francisco Heras. Llamber is a fusion of Asturiana y Catalan. Francisco says this is because he is half Catalan, Asturiano is where he was born. Therefore his heart is half Catalan, half asturiano.
As the name of the restaurant hints, many of the tapas and plates are designed for the table to share. Some choices include tuna tataki with garlic and onions, quinoa salad with legume, sesame caviar and patatas bravas with tomato salsa.
After you’ve enjoyed your delicious entrée, don’t forget to treat yourself to one of Francisco’s spectacular deserts. Enjoy llambiotae, a white chocolate cloud with strawberries or a traditional asturiano treat, rosemary ice cream.
The kitchen at Llamber is open all day, so there is no excuse not to visit this restaurant while you are in Barcelona.
