“If you have a good product that the least it is touched by the cook, the better” (Quote originally in Spanish). With these words, the chef Antonio de Alamo defines the philosophy of Media Ración. A restaurant that has won the stomachs of the Madrid public thanks to their traditional cooking centered around the food, season and quality. Like the name indicates, this culinary establishment is made to share. In the question of desserts, many have the opinion that one person can enjoy his or her own dessert but the more fulfilling option Is ordering multiple to share to be able to try the different flavors the restaurant has to offer. A dessert that is deserving of a special mention is their Chocolate and Bread; a simple recipe with a chocolate base, a crunchy piece of toast, and extra fine bread, flaked salt and oil, but it transports you back to your childhood. Absolutely delightful.

Emblem of the gallega gastronomy, the Tarta de Santiago is one of the best and sweetest desserts you can try in Lua, one of the best Gallego restaurants in Madrid. Here the chef, Manuel Dominguez, who earned the Michelin star in 2015, prepares it in a curious manner and utter originality. Made differently than what we are used to, biscuit style, the chef offers a soft and liquid texture, similar to texture we’d find in los coulant, but where the almond remains being the main protagonist. It is served accompanying a citric foam and laminated almonds.
