Monocrom is a restaurant run by two brothers, both of whom are sommeliers, experts of wine, who wanted a restaurant with its own soul, essence, and life. In which they say that wine is a lively juice in a bottle that is made for the pallets, to evoke sensation. With this, they have made their restaurant perfection.
Located in a calm plaza in the city of Barcelona, whose protagonist is the land. In Monocrom everything depends on the season. The season contributes to the time and place, which are two concepts that the chefs use to consolidate the fundamentals of the restaurant.
They have created a space that is calm, cozy, and based on what they enjoy most, wine. There is a room that is fully decorated with wine, in concrete with more than 150 references, of which are mainly natural, ecological and imported from France.
To match your wine with your food, the menu is composed of delicious Mediterranean and Catalonian cuisine. Those of which include croquettes with grilled chicken, salad of the season, tartar with homemade potatoes, mollejas agridulces, escalibada (roasted pepper salad) with peppers that evoke hallucinations despite being an everyday vegetable.
An establishment created for those who wish to leave their everyday lives and experiment with an evening based on quality and unmasking wine. Without a doubt, this is a gastronomic space to discover and find a fascinating amount of wine and cuisine.
