After seven years of being open and four restaurants in progress, New York Burger has been established itself as the go-to burger restaurant in Madrid. This success has given them the strength to continue to evolve and start a revolution. A revolution that has begun with the place they have in Miguel Angel, where they have created a menu full of attractive proposals based on grilled cooking, wood and smoke. A different way of cooking, but with which they have achieved more intense and surprising flavors, and most importantly, imitating a real Texas barbecue.
But this change only affects the kitchen, because the philosophy of the premises remains the same. In the kitchen of New York Burger only quality products come in and they still have attentive service so that you can feel at ease in their restaurants.
One of the main men responsible for this evolution is the chef Pablo Colmenares, who, after graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in London and joining the DiverXo team, has returned to the family business that his father started to lead this change.
We can say that the change began in the United States, specifically in the State of Texas, since for two months father and son traveled through Houston, Dallas, Austin to inspire and soak the kitchen with ember and smoke. After discovering new textures and flavors they returned to Madrid and they put to work to create the new recipes for the menu of New York Burger.
But all this evolution does not mean that New York Burger leaves behind its premium hamburgers. As Pablo says “we do not want to forget about the American heritage that we drag”, but its goal is to implement a new product offering a special touch so that all its guests have new proposals to enjoy eating.
From now on, on the menu of New York Burger you will find delicious proposals like the beef rib angus black, which is cooked for 8 hours on walnut and is glazed on the grill with bourbon sauce. The result is an undoubtedly juicy meat with a soft texture that melts in the mouth and with a flavor full of different notes. Another dish you cannot stop is the brisket (thin slices of angus black cow’s breast), a plate full of sensations that has been cooked for 12 hours and that in the mouth has a mellow texture and a flavor that will leave you speechless.
The entrees will also surprise you, as you will find new options such as corn cob (grilled roast with parmesan cheese, cilantro, lime and chilli powder) or the delicious parmigiano salad with chicken, with a simple but very attractive presentation.
There is no doubt that New York Burger has worked hard to create this letter, as each dish will take you to a real American barbecue. A restaurant perfect for lovers of meat and good cuisine.
