In the consecrated district of Sarria, we find OhBo, an organic restaurant that opened a few years ago and remains the favorite place for those who want to eat well.
A spacious, luminous and modern space that houses a healthy gastronomic proposal, prize of a cared kitchen based on products of proximity. We were called to the door by the large window through which we can appreciate its delicate design. We sit accompanied by Anton Brufau, owner and consecrated foodie, and we look at his menu.
It’s difficult for us to choose between such a selection of vigorous and appetizing dishes. A place where healthy eating is the main premise, the goal for anyone looking to taste a cuisine pushed by a modern and healthy lifestyle.
At OhBo, you can enjoy a weekly lunch menu that maintains the balanced line between healthy and tasty. And you can always order from the pampered menu, made with products of proximity. Here even their wines are organic, a healthy offer that goes from homemade juices to all kinds of specials that change weekly in their lunch menu.
With recommendation included, we go into action. We first shared two of their star salads: a burrata with Kalamata sand and seasoned tomatoes; and the Caesar salad with parmesan and tandoori turkey. Fresh, healthy and complete.
While we wait for the second gastronomic offer, we take a look at its ecological wine list, a declaration of intentions of a restaurant that ratifies their passion for good food. Today we opted for its refreshing salmon tartar with avocado, apple and ginger. And we share a green curry and crisp vegetables, chicken and jasmine rice. Two of the most acclaimed dishes by their clientele, and it’s no less.
The sweet touch includes a passion fruit mousse and chocolate ganache with black tea. Two delicacies with which we finish our healthy lunch in a place that holds an organic flag with enthusiasm and pride.
