Fast. Good. Fresh This is how we define the new gastronomic option in the financial area of Barcelona. And this new place with the name of tropical plant has captivated us with its daring and simple offer of Vietnamese rolls.
Simple rolls of rice, healthy, easy and nutritious in a location designed by Cristina Carulla herself. A modern, spacious and laborious space where all kinds of culinary innovations come from Chef Aris.
With just two months of life, we visited this magnificent Asian option which attracts customers with its variety of snacks. A hybrid between fast food and healthy food that perfectly combines the needs and demands of a neighborhood dominated by hustle and bustle – stress and time is money. Undoubtedly, Pandan fits like a glove.
We sit down, and while we wait for our rolls, we open our mouths to their cold coconut soup and their rice sachets. Before devouring the last bit, our rolls arrive. Fast, fast, fast!
We tried the roasted pork with onions and cilantro; bonito with mayo, arugula and Daikon; and the vegetarian egg, avocado and carrot. Each roll is recommended with a different sauce, so we try them and enter a trip along the Vietnamese coast between flavors, textures and aromas. A dream vacation without leaving the chair.
And finally, for a touch of sweet, try the vegetarian Pandan cake with mango and coconut jelly. This is the finishing touch to a true walk through a culture so distant, but so accessible at the same time. This is Pandan: fast, good, fresh.
