This restaurant is part of the group Escribá, based on the concept of sharing. The gastronomy is based on Latin America, to be exact, we can find references to Brasil, Peru, and Mexico. These references are also mixed in with Japanese, resulting in plates where the seasoning is the main protagonist of delicious elaborations.
The concept of sharing is extrapolated as much into the food as it is the enjoyment of the restaurant, the happiness, the time and the cheers… Quite literally, no doors in this establishment are completely closed; the closeness and well-being of La Picantería are more than contagious.
This menu is characterized by its dynamic and continuous rotation of gastronomy. On their own menu, they highlight the use of their new menu choices each week, like the midday menu that is changed weekly. A few of the plates that are must-tries are Anticuchos de ají, de remolacha, grilled prawn ceviche, bolinho of shrimp and anticucho octopus accompanied by patacones.
Lastly but not any less important, La Picantería counts on many cocktail options, where the Latin essence and the concept of sharing is more than present with the use of distills such as mezcal and tequila. Likewise, the chef has created specific pairings for each of the dishes, which are worth trying.
