This weekend is the official start of the summer! If you thought that Sant Joan was a unique plan to start the summer, you were very wrong. Barcelona has prepared plenty of plans to enjoy the fresh air, good music, terraces, and food.

Glories live
The mall Glòries renovated it’s image and has added events to go along with that. In these summer nights, they have offered to us with live music in the fresh air as part of their new vibe; #GlòriesLive. In this way we can enjoy of the space that is full of gastronomy, leisure and trade accompanied by music by artists Sheila Weaver, Mar Expósito y Lexter. An excellent way to spend our summer nights!

L’ou com balla
The cloisters, patios, and gardens are adorned to receive the Corpus tradition that has been ongoing since 1637. Once again we will be able to dance to ‘L’ou com balla’ in the picturesque fountains of the most beautiful patios in Barcelona. La Basílica de la Purísima Concepción, los jardines del museo Frederic Marès, el Archivo Histórico de la Ciudad de Barcelona, el Museo Marítimo, la Casa de los Entremeses and el Jardín del Ateneu among other spaces are opening their doors and adorning with flowers to receive anyone who desires to attend this traditional event.
The OBC in the beach
The Orquestra Sinfónica de Barcelona and Nacional de Cataluña is nearing San Sebastián beach to celebrate la Fiesta de la Música, offering an amazing show to enjoy on this fine summer night. The polish director of the orchestra, Michal Nesterowicz is in charge of guiding the repertoire in which they will interpret pieces from Bizet, Dvorák, Sibelius o Rimski-Kórsakov, among others. A function that is open to all public and perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

Combinat de circ en el Castillo Montjuïc
Trapeze, a steady rope, a scale and hands on hands invade the Montjuïc Castle, directed by José Luis Redondo with the montage “Combinat de circ”. The corners, aisles, and walls of the castle with transform into the stage of this revolutionary show.

Fact Meets The Home
“What if I just stay at home for this San Joan?” No, not possible. A better choice than staying home is celebrating in The Home, who prepared a party to receive the shortest night of the year. Twelve hours of partying without stop starting at 5 pm and ending at 5 am, accompanied by the best electronic music from the hands of the predictor Fact Worldwide Events. The perfect way to receive the longest Dany and shortest night in the most intense way possible.
