With nice and fresh plans to combat this wave of heat, we say goodbye to this crazy month of June with a cultural festival for all people, movies in the fresh air and gastronomic experiences for lovers of seafood and meat. In July, we have more!
Jornadas del Bogavante
It may be that Madrid doesn’t have a beach where we can experience dinner in front of the beach or a cocktail under an umbrella. Nonetheless, the exquisite gastronomic options that Madrid restaurants have to offer makes us forget about the sea breezes and sun beds. This is the case with the restaurants Carbón Negro and their new Jornadas del Bogavante. There is one way of enjoying these sought-after products that the chef, Gonzalo Armas has designed, eating his five perfectly elaborated plates: the lobster salad and pata tierna (32 €) and salpicón de bogavante (lobster) azul (30 €), a fine lobster and crab lasagna (26 €) and to continue, the grilled blue lobster (55 €). The final selection is made with a typical recipe of the Baleares- a base of fried eggs, potatoes and lobster (60 €).
Summer returns to the Villa
Starting this Friday the 28th until September 1st numerous plazas and parks from the 21 districts in Madrid will be filled with music, dance, movies, theatre, gastronomy, and sports, among others to celebrate the new edition of Los Veranos de la Villa. A date meant for immersing all types of publics into the culture by allowing them to enjoy 41 artistic events and 35 distinct spaces of the city.
Movies in the fresh air
Movie buffs of Madrid, open up your eyes because you will love this weekend’s plan. Behind five successful editions returns Cibeles de Cine. This is an event that arrives at the Galería de Cristal de Centro with some of the best cinematographic titles and movie premiers.
