The “Summers at the Villa” bring us two exquisite artistic offerings: a performance by Yabba and a concert from Rosalía & Raül Refree. Plus, La Casa Encendida continues their electronic show on the terrace, while El Imparcial opens the photographic exhibition “Girls from today,” by Andrea Savall.
THURSDAY, July 20
“Yabba Performance, Summers at the Villa”
The Madrid-based artist María Jerez presents Yabba, at Nave 16. It’s a visual performance of shapes in movement and constant transformation. A changing microcosm that produces different things for each individual who encounters it. Things that move between images, concepts, ideas, emotions, which are produced precisely in the moment you encounter this distorted and constantly changing organism. The performance will be accompanied by Lanoche, a musical project of Ángela de la Serna that mixes experimental electronic, ambient, deep house, and techno music in a way that’s atmospheric and drawn-out.
Beforehand, you can visit Latxaska Etxea and drink a “pintxo-pote,” or taste any of their seasonal products.
Time: 9:30pm

Girls from Today is a project that looks to defend feminism, emphasizing the idea that feminism means equality and telling the rest of the world how girls are today. A brilliant work without additives. Don’t miss this young photographer because the exhibition will give you a lot to discuss.

“DJ Marcelle – Another Nice Mess”
Marcelle van Hoof is the Dutch woman who’s hidden behind DJ Marcelle — Another Nice Mess, who’s spent 15 years traveling around Europe, surprising people with her eclectic mixes and giving them something to talk about.
Marcelle offers unprecedented sessions in Oriental and African rhythms, or, really, a combination of all types of styles: dubstep, breakbeat, hip hop, Caribbean music — all without losing sight of the latest in electronic music. All mixed to perfection in a contagious and magnetic session, with which she’ll delight the audience watching from the terrace of the Casa Encendida.
After the concert, you can go to the restaurant Buns&Bones, in the Anton Martín Market, to enjoy a “bao bun” and their delicious grilled meats.
