The start of PHotoEspaña 2019
Nearly 200 photographers and artists protagonize this year of 2019 the XXII edition of PHotoESPAÑA. A series of visual arts with more than 300 artists that began yesterday, June 5th and ends on September 1, is a great way to start your weekend. This year the photo festival will commemorate the commissars that were invited to exercise their writing and photography like Susan Bright. The creativity, talent and photographic reflection is made patent in Madrid among the 85 expositions spread out across 40 venues.

The best artisanal popsicles
Two years after the conquer of natives San Sebastián, Oier Almandoz e Iñigo Galdona arrives in Madrid (Mesonero Romanos, 10) the alternative yet traditional popsicle: Loco Polos. Known as an authentic guilty pleasure, they are made with a base of milk or water and is the perfect way to itch that scratch during these hot days in the sun. With more than 900 flavors that are varying throughout the year, even though each month they only have 20-35 flavors in rotation for sale. Ferrero’s popsicle, for example, is filled with hazelnut and chocolate but there is also cheesecake filled with strawberry sauce. These popsicles are an explosion of flavor with ingredients that are 100% natural, that is filled inside and topped on the outside.

The most famous vintage market
This weekend and this month mark a tradition with the arrival of the Museo del Ferrocarril, a new edition to the most famous market in the capital of Spain. Mercado de Motores celebrates the imminent arrival of summer and it’s festivals with a Kararocker. A weekend of music, food, and of course, distinct creations by more than 200 designers, artists, and artisans. Definitely an event you cannot miss!
Creativity in its pure state
Lovers of design, music, and movies, take note of this plan we are unveiling for you because you won’t want to miss it. This Saturday in la Casa del Lector del Matadero de Madrid el T-Cross Creativity Fest, the most creative festival of the season. This is an event organized by Volkswagen to learn and discover with the help of conferences, workshops, activities, and music as well as well-known personalities like Javier Mariscal, Monstruo Espagueti, Maria Ke Fisherman and musician Carlos Sadness.

Art in the fresh air
This Sunday, June 9th, the Malasaña neighborhood celebrates the 4th edition of the most colorful festival of the year. Pinta Malasaña unites more than 100 artists that will fill the walls, floors, crystals and urban area with their original illustrations, graffiti and other types of creations. This is an outdoor cultural experience full of art and creativity that will transform the city of Madrid.
