Legend has it that in the palace of Linares you can still hear Raimunda, the bastard daughter of the Marquis of Linares with a Lavapiés estanpeta. This restaurant has decided to recover this legend by bringing it back to the present.
Located in Casa América and in the garden of the Palacio de Linares, Raimunda is the perfect place to disconnect from the city. With exposed brick walls, vegetation on the roof and a large painting that would reflect a 21st century Raimunda, this space surprises guests from the start.
The restaurant is divided into 3 areas: the indoor lounge, the outside terrace and a bar where you can enjoy drinks or hold an event. In any of the areas you will forget that you are in the center of Madrid, and enjoy a delicious meal.
Raimunda is characterized by a very careful kitchen . The sum of an attractive menu, surprising dishes, very thoughtful decoration and quality service has resulted in a restaurant where ones goes to enjoy special moments. The menu has been designed by chef Sergio Fernández, who has created a varied gastronomic offer, based on traditional cuisine but with a nod to American and Nikkei cuisine.
In Raimunda you will find dishes such as patatas bravas, some flaky potatoes with a chipotle sauce ; a traditional dish on the menu. The lasagna de toro with Wan tun frito is one of the dishes that triumphs among the diners, since the stew of oxtail has a lot of flavor and the fried wan tun gives it that crunchy touch that makes it special. The ham croquettes, herring with avocado and gazpacho with goat cheese are other dishes you’ll find on the menu.
One of their original desserts or a cocktail is the final touch to a meal in Raimunda, a meal that can be extended without problem since this restaurant does not close at noon and has an uninterrupted kitchen.
Raimunda is a small refuge in the center of Madrid. A cozy space and a helpful staff will make your visit to this restaurant serve to escape for a few hours from the city, despite being in the heart of Madrid.
