Back in the day, in Argentina, the Quechua used the word “reko” to describe clear waters, while the Catalans use the term “racons” to describe their favorite restaurants. It is the union of these two cultures that brought us Rekons, where the masses flock for the variety of their empanadas; whether its beef, chicken, onion and cheese, mushrooms, caprese, ham and cheese, eggplant, asparagus, or the butifarra (Catalan Sausage). All of which you can eat in, or take-away if you so desire. Sit on their gorgeous terrace and have a nice coffee or Vermouth accompanied by one of their delicious plates or sandwiches. We recommend the cheese with Quince, or any of their cold-cuts cut right there when ordered. If it is time to eat, go for their famous salad, “la Kilomba,” made with strawberries, pineapple, avocado, and asparagus. Friendly service, in a familiar atmosphere, a pleasure.
