Lunch breaks can be hard. If you’re lucky, you have time for a menu of the day. However, often times we find ourselves scrambling to pick up a quick sandwich in order to get back to the office as soon as possible. These are the times when our taste buds tend to be the most dissatisfied.
This week we invite you to get out of your mundane routine and try a bite of something delicious at Santa Gula. Located in the Gracia district, the menu at Santa Gula makes no distinction between starters and entrees.
This is because, as founding partner Nacho Nuñez explains, “ You should be allowed to eat what you want, how you want”. To order only one or two plates here is a crime, so we’ll name a few that you must try.
Begin your night with a warm Carpaccio of Zucchini with goat cheese, cashews and mint. Follow up with the tataki Bluefin tuna Tempura with mango, sesame and avocado salad. Next, try some fresh mushrooms a la plancha with polenta or perhaps homemade mushroom ravioli and shrimp with Parmesan suquet. In addition to the superb culinary menu, Santa Gula also boasts an extensive wine menu.
If you’re looking to share a perfect night in Barcelona with good friends and good food, look no further than Santa Gula.
