Calling all vegans! We present you with a fun recipe for a skillet chocolate chip cookie that is perfect for vegans. This is a very common and frequent American dessert and if you are wanting to surprise yourself and experiment in the kitchen by transforming this traditional dessert into something unique, this is the recipe for you. This is perfect for the whole family (we assure you the little ones will love it) and no need to even get the kitchen dirty. The result will be a suave and delicate interior with a truly crunchy top.
Ingredientes
- 250 grs of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 150 grs of chocolate chips
- 100 grs of white sugar
- 90 grs of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 110 ml of vegetable oil
- 70 ml of mineral water
- flakes of salt
- 100 grs crushed nuts
- Optional: vegan ice cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, you will mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then add the chocolate chips and crushed nuts
- In another bowl, mix the sugar with the olive oil, water, and vanilla. then add this mix to the flour and mix it with a wooden spoon until it becomes dough. Do not mix too much
- Let it settle in the fridge, preferably overnight, but at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 190ºC (370ºF) and prepare the skillet by covering the base and edges with a little bit of oil to prevent from sticking.
- Then place all the dough in the skillet and smush it in a bit with your fingers
