Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday… the hustle and bustle of the office, of chores and haste. If you are too lazy to cook, you hate tupperware, or you’re just a fan of lunch menus, here comes your salvation. Menus with first and second courses and dessert; for those who like to stop outside the restaurant door and look at the menu in search of a dish that will drag you inside.

Here we leave you a list of our favorite restaurants where we go during the week to devour a lunch menu, in different categories; for those of all palates. Wait, this is just Volume I!

Hotel Brummell

Brummell Kitchen is a project that was born under the roof of Hotel Brummell, a boutique hotel with a young and cozy atmosphere located in the Poble Sec neighborhood. A place where there is an interesting conversation between the atmosphere and the food. A space in which there is a kind of dance, without music, but with a rhythm that seduces us between the light, the plants, decoration, the sound of water and the flavors.

In this little hideout you can enjoy a delicious lunch menu that includes soup, cream or salad, along with the dish of the day, drink and dessert for 14.50 euros. A balanced and tasty formula.

Hawker 45

Hawker 45 takes you for a walk in the streets of Asia and Latin America, giving your palate a trip without leaving the city. Laila represents the Philippine tradition, Fernanda Brazilian, Aisha the Senegalese and Bertrand giving the patriotic touch, this multiculturality is a faithful reflection of the ethnic variety that are found in their recipes

If you come during the week you can enjoy a great lunch menu with first and second courses and dessert for about 12 euros.

Buenaventura Café

Buenaventura Café is a project made with love, passion, sincerity, transparency, and made with conscience. Owned by Albert Ventura, owner of the Coure restaurant, it puts in the hands of Alejandra Eilenberg the responsibility of the project to develop the whole gastronomic concept that is based on the organic Flexitarian cuisine.

This honest organic restaurant makes natural cuisine with fresh produce that is served several times a week from local suppliers. At noon there is an option on the menu that includes an entree, the dish of the day, a drink and dessert or coffee for only 10.50 euros. ¡One of our favorites!

Bendita Helena

Two Venezuelan girls and the new concept of “Comfort Food”, based on a healthy and careful kitchen with quality products and appealing production. That said, it looks like the perfect place to enjoy a lunch out of the house without worrying about a diet; and the truth is that it is. Bendita Helena is the ideal place to enjoy a good lunch menu that changes daily, or a limited menu full of dishes made with love for the most delicate palates.

From Tuesday to Friday, the girls of Bendita Helena prepare a comprehensive menu with a starter, a main dish, and dessert for only 12.50 euros. Definitely our favorite place.

Aguaribay

Seven years, three partners and one concept. The perfect summary of a place that has been feeding the most demanding food critics daring and tasty vegetarian dishes. An imaginative vegetarian menu and influenced by the three partners of different origins (Catalan, Argentinian, and Italian), offers gluten-free and vegan options.

A lunch menu and complete dinner menu at a new place in Poblenou that they moved to five months ago. Of the different options, we chose its daily menu that includes a dish of homemade hummus, a first and second course to choose from a wide selection of dishes that vary daily.

Bar Muy Buenas

The unconditional food house in the Raval district reopens at the hands of two culinary geniuses, to retake the course of traditional Catalan cuisine in one of the most emblematic places in the city of Barcelona.

It’s good to find a place that takes care of traditions, a hiding place in full modern swing that displays a local flag and uses the usual products. Here, any day of the week you can wolf down the dish of the day with a drink and dessert. The Fricandeau or the Tuesdays of trinxat amb rosta; for all tastes. Catalan cuisine from Monday to Friday!
