How many times have we wanted to get home, open the fridge and magically find the food ready? TicTaste has landed in Balmes street in Barcelona to make this dream come true. This new proposal aims to make us feel at home, with healthy food, at a reasonable price and with options for all tastes: 100% vegetarian, gluten free, food to eat there or to take home. That is to democratize the gastronomy! This is the great bet of this restaurant.
This idea was forged more than a year ago in the mind of Paulo Pusset, a Brazilian entrepreneur who arrived in Barcelona 4 years ago. Coming from the business world, Paulo knows very well that the frantic pace of this sector often makes us choose between eating fast or eating well. That’s why he was very clear that his next project would be a new concept of Take Away, where the origin and quality of the products is paramount, with a balanced, delicious and healthy gastronomic offer.
Here, fried products, flours and refined sugars do not have a home. In their place are innovative and different recipes, such as not a typical salad, which combines ingredients such as monkfish in green sauce with quinoa, peas, kale and almond sauce. We are also surprised by the sweet side of TicTaste, with offerings such as the iaia chocolate cake, with dates, nuts, cashews, agave syrup, chocolate and cocoa . Behind these elaborations, we find nothing more and nothing less than Flávia Semenow, a chef and nutritionist inspired by Ferran Adrià.
Taking care of oneself and taking care of the environment that surrounds us go hand in hand, that’s why in TicTaste uses ecological products, in which animal welfare and environmental safety is certified. TicTaste also takes special care in wrapping their products in environmentally friendly packaging, made with compostable materials such as rPET and PLA.
In addition to being the perfect place to recharge when you’re in a hurry, TicTaste is also the ideal place to feel comfortable when you need to take a break. Here, the interior is very beautiful and the humor decorates the walls with messages that will make you leave with a smile, wanting to come back for more.
