It is the summer and your body needs to refresh itself to be able to face the rigors of the summer heat.

Visiting Hawaika is like moving any paradise from the coat of Hawaii. It is a Tiki Bar, where every detail will make you forget you are in the surroundings of the Mercado de Abastos de Valencia. This is what grants all the magic to this mythical juice bar inaugurated in 2003, and which makes it to where there is nothing else like It in the city.
In the menu, we can find cocktails, slushes, natural juices, artisan ice cream, milkshakes, and even crepes… It is very difficult to choose between such a variety of flavors and exotic scents. Many choose the Arcoiris (rainbow) ice cream (blackberry, tropical blue, kiwi, lemon, and passion fruit), the Tangaroa: with pieces of strawberry, red fruit sauce, and nata Montana; the cocktail Pupukea: bubble gum, lemon, lime, pineapple, and matured rum; the Maldicion del Pirata: lemon, apple, Jazmin, mix of rum, and the Estrella de Fuego: passion fruit, pineapple, peach, and a mix of rum.
This juicery in a way is thought of as a myth, where there is no true Valencian that doesn’t know it, or that hasn’t tried it. If you have not yet experienced it or if you have just arrived to the city, you are in luck because we have just described to you an authentic tropical paradise you cannot miss.
Come and let yourself be blown away by the magic of being in Hawaii!

Mariam and her sister Yolanda took on the reins of an antique little corner shop of teas and shishas of the neighborhood of Ruzafa- and converted it into a Valencia refuge for some of the most exclusive and mimicked cafes in the world.
In Bluebell, the coffee is taken care of with a lot of mimo. They serve coffee that comes from all different origins, depending on the time, always of the last harvest, picked up and selected by hand.
An exceptional cafe demands that the rest of the menu be at the same level, and in Bluebell they have accomplished that. They wanted to better the gastronomic choices of the city in the morning with an original, healthy and ecological proposal, and now Bluebell’s plates and desserts have little competition in the franja matinal. From the small kitchen comes delicious creations like the gofre con hue poche (poached egg), setas y trufa (mushrooms and truffle); tostada de bonito, or avocado with chucrut and egg; pho; chia pudding, cakes… a menu that varies and also includes drinks without caffeine like the delicious homemade kombucha.

La Hiladeria Linares is a business that has been established since 1930, refreshing people from near and far. This ice cream ship is found in the Plaza de la Reina and if very well known for having peculiar ice cream.
As winners of many prizes for their original ice cream flavors, they are notably one of the best ice cream places in the city. In 2016 they were announced as runner-up for the Coppa del Mundo della Gelateria with their Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding-hood) ice cream, a refreshing English ice cream, mandarin sorbet, raspberry jelly and bits of chocolate cookies.
This is one of the 60 flavors that this Valencia ice-cream parlor has to offer, of which are rated depending on the season. Donut ice cream, Pantera rosa, Oreo cookie, violets, avocado, wings, and even mojito ice cream, are a few of the many amazing and unique flavors.
The specialty is the nougat ice cream, a classic Valencian gastronomy flavor. The oatmeal ice cream is another good option for traditional flavors.
The more brave customers can opt for the savory ice cream, like the gazpacho andaluz, the tortilla de patata (potato), morcilla (blood sausage) or fabada. These are more than just ice cream, they can accompany other plates, meat, and salads.
In the Barrio del Carmen neighborhood, situated in one of the small lanes of the historic center of Valencia, next to the Iglesia de Santa Catalina and the Plaza Redonda, you can find one of the most antique and famous horchaterias of the city.
La Horchateria Santa Catalina offers, for the past two decades, along with the liquid and slush horchatas, other typical products like the Valencia water, slushes and their gran specialty: el chocolate caliente (the hot chocolate).
To get the horchata wet, there is nothing better than some yummy artisanal cartons as well as churros and pumpkin bunuelos fresh out of the oven for maximum flavor.
You cannot miss out on this magnificent restaurant interior, where you can appreciate an incredible look at Manises ceramics.
